Web Account Manager Vacancy

We are looking for an experienced Web Account/Project Manager for a full time position in our offices at Thessaloniki, Greece. 

Communicational skills are paramount; your writing and speech must be fluent, as you will be required to constantly liaise with clients and colleagues. You need to have good problem solving skills, stick to project deadlines, and be capable of working under minimum supervision.

Although we won’t expect you to be a full-blown programmer, or Web designer, you should be extremely Web-savvy and able to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Be the primary liaison between clients and the Zefxis management, creative and technical teams.
  • Manage the full web project life cycle, from briefing to final delivery.
  • Maintain all project documentation such as schedules, reports, etc.
  • Write proposals that outline project costs and technical information.
  • Stick to deadlines and drive projects forward.
  • Ensure that our high quality standards are met on every single project.
  • Clearly capture clients’ requirements.
  • Deal with clients on the telephone, face to face, and via e-mail.
  • Provide client support pre- and post- project.
  • Provide other documentation as needed, compose the company’s newsletter, write blog articles, etc .

Key requirements:

  • Experience in a Web-based company for at least a year.
  • Experience with project management.
  • A solid understanding of the Web and related technologies (XHTML/CSS/Databases).
  • Excellent use of English and Greek, both written and spoken. You must be able to write and speak to a very high standard.
  • A friendly, professional attitude.
  • Fulfilled army service requirements (for Greek male applicants).

The following would be advantageous, but not mandatory:

  • Working knowledge of XHTML/CSS.
  • Site information architecture design  skills (Wireframes, sitemaps, and user workflows).
  • Understanding of Web Standards and usability/accessibility principles.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization principles.
