Front-end Developer Vacancy

Zefxis is looking for an experienced Front-end Developer for a full time position in their offices at Thessaloniki Greece. The successful candidate must have a solid track of work experience, a creative portfolio and a perfect grasp of aesthetics and colour/text balance. 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Wireframe design
  • Design in Photoshop and conversion to cross- browser/OS pages
  • Content management with Zefxis' CMS, Genesis
  • Javascript and Ajax script embedding in web pages
  • Deployment and customization of web sites on servers

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent XHTML, CSS & Web Standards knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Typography & color theory
  • Experienced in Javascript and/or Ajax development
  • Knowledge of tableless design
  • Previous experience of at least 2 years at a similar position
  • A comprehensive projects portfolio
  • Fulfilled army service requirements (for male applicants).

Desired:

  • Additional knowledge of front-end development
  • Application of Usability & Accessibility principles to projects
  • Experience in working with CMS
