Academy of Magic Retail Print Design

In February 2007, the State Opera of Thessaloniki presented “The Bat" (Die Fledermaus), an operetta composed by Strauss.  By following the highly successful design of our work from “The Abduction from the Seraglio” we developed a very strong brand for the show.

We used cartoon-style artistry with a dark and somber look reflecting the feel of the play. The central element of our design is the image of a Bat, perched on a branch and wearing a carnival mask. The Bat's gaze, combined with the moody colours and illustration style results in an imposing feeling.

We designed the posters, street banners, the building hanging poster, and advertising leaflets.
