Opinions is one of the biggest retailers of athletic and fashion shoes in Greece. It is the official distributor of well-known brands such as Hush Puppies, Roberto Venuti, Dona Karan, Calvin Klein, Shy and others.

Zefxis formed a steady and ongoing collaboration with Opinions in late 2008, when we got asked to provide the design for three websites.  Other than that, Opinions also trusted us with their websites’ promotion. We are proud to admit that we utilised all of our technical expertise and know-how and we got more than impressive results.

Promoting Opinions started from a carefully-designed strategy for Search Engine Optimization.  It was a daunting task, since the project dealt with bi-lingual websites for three different countries. Firstly, we optimized each website for a large range of keywords that would be highly relevant to the content.  The table to the right shows some of the great results achieved.

Our optimization job, however, did not stop there. To keep a website at the highest ranked result, we perform quality control checks and minute adjustments, continuously monitoring its performance as time goes by.

We also catalogued the websites to the biggest Internet directories. Placement in directories like these boosts the websites’ recommendation ‘score’ to Google and other search engines.

The results were outstanding and multi-leveled.  If you take a look at the rest of the tables, Opinions receive 80% of their visitors strictly from search engines. Because the visitors discover the website by using some of the relative keywords we have specified, it means that they are targeted successfully and may become buying customers.

Another impressive result is that the average user spends about five (5) minutes navigating around the Opinions website. This value is quite remarkable when compared to the average time a visitor spends on websites.

Finally, the webpage has a 23% bounce rate.  The bounce rate represents those visitors who visit the site and immediately leave.  A 23% bounce rate is an excellent number, considering that an acceptable value for a good website is 30-40%.  This indicates that the Opinions website is an enticing destination for its visitors.
