Adorno Website Design

Adorno is an Athens-based company specialising in bespoke, modern furniture. We have enjoyed a long and established relationship with Adorno since 2004. Zefxis has designed and developed three successful installations for the Adorno website. This is the third, and most recent, one.

All furniture by Adorno are characterized by a contemporary and elegant form. Naturally, our design approach to the Adorno website had to reflect the quality of the actual furniture. To achieve this, we attuned the site’s look and feel between shades of grey and black, which bring out elements of luxury and modern craftsmanship.

As we do throughout all of our projects, here too, we focused extensively on the visitor navigation system. This turned Adorno into a highly usable and accessible website where potential clients can easily locate what they are looking for.

In parallel with the design and development of the website, we implemented a highly successful Search Optimization strategy, which produced excellent results. From 2006 onwards, Adorno can be found between the 1^st and 3^rd ranked positions in Search Engine results for Greek keywords related to furniture. This quickly translated into thousands of visitors per month, brought to the site through the Engines. Combined with a clean and structured webpage design, within a short time visitors became clients. A large number of them visited Adorno’s physical store in Athens and the company’s sales sharply increased.

The website was developed in Greek and was fully based on our in-house Content Management System (Genesis CMS).
