Byzantina Website Design
Handmade wood-carving is an ancient craft with origins lost in time. The Byzantine Craftsman is really a one-man band, located in Xanthi, Northern Greece. He lovingly creates wood-carvings in the Byzantine religious style.
The most important aspect through our collaboration is the high increase in visits and customer orders in the first few weeks from the website's launch.
We are also extremely pleased from the fact that we continue to receive quality support from Zefxis with anything with might require.
ANASTASIOS MPARTZOPOULOS THE CRAFTSMAN
When we were asked to design his website, we wanted to highlight the knowledge and perseverance demanded for the creation of these marvelous items, as well as their relationship to the Greek Byzantine past. The end design and feel of the website reflects our efforts. We placed great importance to the overall aesthetics and display of the hand-crafted items, which actually are the focal points of the website.
We were also tasked to promote the website by designing and sending out an E-mail Newsletter. The E-mail campaign proved extremely successful; within a few days the Craftsman received a large number of orders from new customers.
The website also performed extremely well with Search Engine results. From the first weeks since its launch, the website appeared within the first ranked sites for relevant keywords both in English and in Greek. Naturally, this led to a further increase in sales from customers around the world.
All of these very quick sales rapidly surpassed the actual website production costs, proving that website creation with Zefxis was a very good investment choice for the Craftsman.
Cases like this make us extremely proud: our collaborators receive a sound return for their investment and this serves as further proof to our high-quality work.
The project was developed with our in-house Content Management System, (Genesis CMS).
