ELEGEIA Website Design

The Hellenic Society of General Medicine (ELEGEIA) is a certified medical scientific body active in the field of General Medicine and its advancement. Activities include life-long education, funded research and quality assurance.

The society also acts as the organizer for a plethora of activities, the highlight being the annual Panhellenic Conference of General Medicine which attracts 1200-1500 attendants from around the world.

The website of ELEGEIA contains an abundance of useful information for its members and the general public.

From a design point of view, our aim was to develop a website with a crisp look and readable content. The text material to be included in the website were both complicated and numerous, thus demanding a focus on readability and accessibility from our part.  Additionally, due to the constant updates and content changes, the chief members of ELEGEIA elected to be responsible for their own content updates.

The website was developed by using our in-house Content Management System (Genesis CMS) and also performed very well with Search Engines from the first week of the site going live.
