Lithos Website Design

Lithos is a property construction company located in Chalkidiki, Greece, specializing in the development and sales of traditional holiday properties. They build and sell houses, bungalows and villas with a variety of sizes and pricing. All of the buildings are made by using traditional Greek stone craftsmanship, and great care is placed in the construction quality, something which is apparent throughout all of the properties.

We were conducting a market research for website design companies and Zefxis always appeared first in our Google results. From this, we deducted that the Zefxis team knew something that their competitors did not.

Thus, we decided to assign our website design to Zefxis, and the results were exactly what we were looking for: a bespoke, professional, aesthetically pleasant, and user-friendly website.

What I appreciated the most, however, and I continue doing so, is that the people of Zefxis are always next to our company and our Internet needs. They are always on call, ready to answer any questions we might have or solve problems that might arise, quickly, accurately and professionally. Their after-sales support and client care really is an example to imitate.

The main purpose of the website was to increase property sales. This was achieved with a two-step process: through a careful design which stayed true to the Lithos brand and the deployment of a Search Engine Optimisation strategy. The website was developed in 4 languages, Greek, English, German, and Norwegian.

Potential property buyers place great importance to the look and feel of candidate houses. The houses built by Lithos bring out a sense of elegance and timeless quality due to the use of high quality material and traditional craftsmanship. As a result, we placed great emphasis on the site’s visual aspects, such as the high-quality photographs of buildings, in order to entice the potential buyers. The website was developed by using our in-house Content Management System (Genesis CMS).

We applied a dynamic marketing and Search Engine Optimisation strategy, which brought impressive results quite quickly. Visitor influx increased and, combined with the way the properties were visually presented, sales sharply escalated.

Our work with Search Engine Optimisation proved extremely fruitful for Lithos. By targeting highly related keywords such as “holiday homes” “holiday homes Chalkidiki” and variations of those, we managed to bring Lithos between the first three ranked sites for more than four (4) years.

The cost incurred to Lithos from the design and development of their website was equated very quickly from the first sale that occurred through the Internet. Of course, just one sale surpassed the cost of the website investment by a tenfold.
