Methorion Website Design

The Methorion center is a cultural, nonprofit organisation based in Axioupoli, Kilkis, Northern Greece. The organisation aims to create bridges of communication between the young people of Northern Greece and the Balkans as a whole, by raising awareness to Greek cultural heritage.

Zefxis designed and developed the website for the Center. Through the site’s layout we wanted to promote the Center’s carefree and youthful approach, while at the same time emphasize its activities.

Navigation occurs through two different menus. The first one is dedicated to the Methorion Center as a nonprofit organisation (its activities, productions, supporters, contact information, etc). The second one focuses on the cultural activities themselves.  Those activities make up the largest share of the Center’s work and bringing them to the front on the website allowed us to highlight the cultural focus of the Center as well as related website content.

The website also contains a rich database of audiovisual content, incorporating numerous photographs and videos taken during activities of the Methorion Center through the years.
